EUROMAP 77 - Data exchange between injection moulding machines and MES

EUROMAP 77 describes the interface between injection moulding machines (IMM) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) for data exchange.

It has been released on 4 May 2018.

MES are used for collecting the information generated by IMM at a central point for easier quality assurance and job and dataset management. The target of EUROMAP 77 is to provide a unique interface for IMM and MES from different manufacturers to ensure compatibility.

Please note: Basis for all EUROMAP OPC UA specification is EUROMAP 83 with the definition of common types.

A new version is currently publishes as Release Candidate. See file EUROMAP77_RC1.1.zip. The major changes to version 1.00a are:

  • Namespace changed to http://opcfoundation.org/UA/PlasticsRubber/IMM2MES/
  • An identical text will be published also as OPC 40077 (Edition 1.1) and VDMA 40077:2019-11
